Poster Palooza!

A great way to decorate your house is with posters. It may not work so well outside, but it will make the inside of your house look like a Halloween Hodown! There is really no steps, but let's give it a try.

What You Need:
Poster paper
Markers, color pencils, or crayons. Maybe paint
Tape

1. Make a poster related to Halloween. Think of things that symbolize or are common during Halloween. A witch, werewolf, vampire, monsters, candy, pumpkins, etc. Draw it on your paper with a pencil first. Then outline it with black. Make it colorful!
2. Find a place in your house that needs spookification!
3. Make as many as you want, if you are having a Halloween party, you make one for each of your guests!

Happy Halloween! Mua Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha,(cough) Mua Ha ha!

A Magical Halloween

So, in my class, we are reading...drum roll please.... The lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. So far, it is a great book. I even have ideas that we are going to have a Narnia themed party! Who said Halloween can't have fairies, knights, lions, winter, and a wardrobe here and there? I have lots of ideas, but we have no idea what is coming but I'm sure it will be great!

2. Put on the pajamas
3. Mess up your hair, and act like a zombie.
4. Scare yourself in the mirror! I call this RIP. Rest In Pajamas.:):):):)

Halloween Writing Game

Hi! So last year, in my class, my teacher cam up with an awesome writing game. I want to share it with you! Gather up 2-5 friends, some paper and each person should have a pen or pencil. Now, I call this chain writing. Pick one person to start. They will write the first part of a Halloween theme story, for five minutes. Then they will pass it to the next person who continues the story. Each person writes a part for five minutes. Everyone should have a least one or two turns. Once you are finished, read it aloud and see everyone's spin on the story. You can do this for any holiday, but I like to do it for Halloween.

My Friend Sarah's Blog

Hey! So my friend Sarah, the one who comments a lot, got a blog! She is just starting out, but I think you night want to check out her blog. it is www.myblogbysarah.blogspot.com

About That...

Hey! If you noticed the past miscellaneous post like Funtime in The Summertime, etc. I posted those because I am deleting the other bllog I was workin on, The Fun Bug, so I transported all the posts on that blog to this one!

Funtime in The End of Summertime

Well, readers, as you can see, summer is drawing to a close. But, that doesn't mean you can't still have some wet fun! This is a game that I never actually played or watched, but it seems cool. It doesn't have a name, but it involves the sprinkler. This game requires two or more people. First, everyone playing needs a plastic cup(all of the cups should look and be the same.) You also need someone to time you and it should be a hot day. Here is how you play. When the sprinkler is on and the timer starts, everyone runs through the sprinklers and tries to catch as much water in their cup as possible. Then once the timer is up, it should be over in about three to five minutes, someone has to find the person who had the most in their cup. The player who got the most water gets all the water from everyones cups dumped on them! You can play this as many times as you want, but there should be an adult watching. Hope you enjoy!

Back to School Crafts- Custom Pencil Case

Well, it is August so,new need to get buckled down for school! And here is a craft to keep you organized. A custom pencil case! Let's get started. Supplies Needed A pencil case, plastic preferred. Colored Permanent Markers A picture or photograph The first step is to write your name somewhere on the case. In one of the corners and write it tiny. Then the fun stuff starts. Now take your picture and glue or tape it somewhere on the case. I put mine in the middle and on a diagonal. And If you want, you can make it look like it came out of an album by putting little paper triangles on the corners. Next, take the markers, permanent is better cause it won't come of easily. Anyway, draw some hearts, or stars, or smiley faces, or swirls, or other cool designs. Maybe even clouds or lightning bolts! Make sure you do it around the picture, not on top of it. If you want to, you can add some pizzazz glitter or with stickers. Now, you are done. But I strongly recommend using a plastic case because you can easily slide it between the book in your desk and it won't make a loud clank when It falls on the ground. I hope you enjoy!

Restaurant Maker

Have you ever thought about making your own restaurant? Well, I'm going to tell you how. First come up with a type of food you want to serve. I picked ice-cream. Then think of a cool name for your restaurant, I thought of Scoopie's Ice Cream Parlor. Then the fun part, is to make your menu. You can make up any thing you want, but try to make your restaurant have at least three signature dishes. Illustrate the menu, and when you are finished with that, draw what your restaurant would look like on the outside, then the inside! Now there you have it. You made a restaurant! Some of the idea's from this project came from my fourth grade teacher, so I give the credit to her.

Work or Homework Stress

Do you ever get stressed out about homework or always feel like you are forgetting something? There is a very easy solution to that. A checklist! Get a notebook, and always keep a pencil in it, and everyday, write your assignments and the date in it. Then when you finish one the assignments, put a check next to it. And every time you don't remember what you need to do, look in it. Hope this helps!

Tissue Totem

Hey! Have you ever seen a family tree? Well, this craft is a little like that. Here is what you'll need. Toilet Paper Rolls( one for each member of your family) Some paint markers or crayons Tape or Glue 1. First thing you do is test your knowledge on what your family members like. Or you can do it two other easy ways. Give a toilet paper roll to someone, and tell them to customize it. Or, ask them what they want on it. 2. Each person gets a roll. Then you draw what ever reminds you of that person, or what they like, or traits they have, or etc. This might take awhile, because you want to do it nicely. 3. When you finish that, tape or glue one on top of the other. Tape works a little better. 4. Last, display it proudly in your house, or in your room.

Smoothie Maker

Do you like smoothie's? Well have you ever made one yourself? If you haven't then you will now. It is really simple. You need a blender, And some fruits or chocolate syrup. First you pour the milk in, then you put in your flavor in it. Strawberry and banana tastes good, and so does chocolate. But you can also be daring and try something like grapes, or mango, pineapple, peach, or etc. Then you blend it and lastly, you, pour it in a cup, stir it, and then drink it!

Ying Yang Nails

Do you like to do your nails? Well, I do, and recently, more like yesterday, I did something so cool. I made Ying Yang on my toes! If you've never seem Ying Yang before, I might suggest looking it up on google search to see if you want to put it on you nails. Anyways, I'll tell you how to make it. First, you need two different color nail polish. And a knitting needle or some kind of semi sharp stick. Now, dip the the stick into the nail polish and make a line with two curves through the center of you nail. This is a little hard but it might be easier if you know what Ying Yang looks like. Then once you have that line, It is a little easier. Now, this time, use the brush and paint the right side of the line black, and the left side, white. Wait for this to dry. Once it is dry, put a white dot in the lower right corner in the black. Then put a black dot in the upper right corner in the white. It is easier if you use the knitting needle for this.

Scary Hospitality

Trick or Treating isn't the only part of Halloween. If you ever give out the candy, here are some tips to make your guests shiver as they leave with you candy. 1. Talk in either a scary or funny voice. Say things haunting or weird, it will make the trick or treaters want to come over and over again! 2. Wear a costume! Who said you can't wear a costume when giving out candy! 3. Make sure you wear a costume, sit outside like a puppet or prop, with a bowl of candy next to you. When people get the candy, open your eyes all of a sudden and scream!!!! Be a little careful with little children, be more gentle with them. 4. Be nice!

Tissue Paper Ghosts

So what's more Halloweeny than ghosts? Here is how to make tissue paper ghosts. Things You Need: Rubber bands Tissue paper Newspaper 1. Take on tissue a lay it out flat in front of you. Then take a piece of newspaper, and crumple it into a ball 2. Put the ball in the center of the tissue. 3. Now, take the tissue paper and bunch it up,then put a rubber band around the place right under the newspaper ball. 4. Lastly, take any writing utensil and draw a face on the head of your ghost. 5. Enjoy your ghoulish friend!
